Diane writes and illustrates children's books. Her stories are inspired by the animals in the Australian bush. She enjoys painting in watercolour. Many of Diane's books are about the Australian birds and wildlife that live along the King Parrot Creek in Central Victoria. They include Parny and the Little Orange Tractor, Parny and the BIG Green Tractor, and Parny and the BIG Red Tractor. Ned Numbat of Narrogin is about the little fury numbats that live in Dryandra in Western Australia. Ellie Koala's Rottnest Race is about the little fury animals that live in Western Australia especially the quokkas who live on Rottnest Island. Penelope Penguin's BIG Adventure is about the little penguins at Phillip Island in Victoria.

The Magical Underwater Sea is about the fish and sea creatures on the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland.
