This is a year of putting things in their right place. If nothing else resonates throughout this work, perhaps this is the most valuable. The Book of Haggai, the second shortest in the Old Testament has this message; "put first things first" (Haggai 1). Similar to our times, the people of Haggai's time had lost focus on the supremacy of God, and the power of God was lost. Lip service, outward form, and ritual came to define them. Undoubtedly, God is allowing end-time realities to set in on the national and international stage. Historic paths are being shaped. These words were implanted in my spirit shortly before 2014, and the in-season word that I had I received, "Stay in Goshen until it passes.
" Reminding me of Isaiah's similar words in chapter 26:20, "Come, my people, enter your chambers and, shut your doors behind you; hide, as it were, for a little moment, until the indignation is passed." With all that can be said of our times and the political state that America finds herself in, I am convinced that a growing impression of the world is imprinting itself on God's people. This is creating a vacuum for our Father's unchanging principles.
