My first taste of publication validation came at twelve, when a poem I wrote for a school project was unexpectedly selected for the adult category of a national contest. I didn't know it then, but that moment would change everything. Growing up was not easy. I faced a psychologically damaging household, isolation, bullying, and an ever-present fear of failure. Writing became my escape-a world where I could rewrite reality, become anyone, and finally feel like I mattered. Through stories, I could build the protection I never had and transform pain into purpose. What began as scattered stories and unfinished fanfiction grew into something much deeper. I didn't just want to write stories-I wanted to create worlds.
In 2016, that desire gave birth to The Wanderer Trilogy, a post-apocalyptic saga exploring survival, identity, and the struggle to face one's inner darkness. I wanted to craft a world that kept readers on edge, always questioning what they knew until the final, unexpected twist. The first two books came quickly, fueled by excitement and passion-but once they were released, I found myself confronting a new fear: not of failure, but of success. I stepped away from the trilogy for three years to focus on healing. I revisited the wounds that shaped me, learned to face the parts of myself I had long avoided, and began to understand how my journey mirrored that of my protagonist, Eva. In 2025, I finally returned to complete the story. It felt as though I had to grow into the person capable of finishing it-that my characters couldn't find resolution until I found some of my own. The Wanderer Trilogy is the story I always needed but could never find.
It's a reflection of transformation, resilience, and the strength that comes from confronting your shadow. And now, I'm bringing that story to you.
