In the year 1294 during the Welsh uprisings under King Edward 1, the teenaged orphan, Perkin Trueblood, was set for a quiet life in Basingwerk Abbey. But everything changed when he was chosen to undertake a crucial mission on behalf of the most famous wizard of them all; to steal the magical Torc of Belenus and return it to its rightful owner in England.
