Chris Haughton is Ireland's 2026-2029 Laureate na nÓg, a position designed to champion and celebrate literature for children and young people. He is also the creator of many acclaimed picture books, including Shh! We Have a Plan, for which he received an Ezra Jack Keats New Illustrator Award; Little Owl Lost ; Oh No, George! ; Goodnight Everyone ; Don't Worry, Little Crab ; Maybe .; and Well Done, Mommy Penguin . He has taught many courses in design and illustration around the world. Originally from Dublin, Chris Haughton now lives in London.
