Keeper of the White Dog
The dateline for Barry Willerby, a young and inexperienced English Journalist, is East Africa, where the forces of Africa's new-found political freedoms combine widely different tribal and cultural elements in a bizarre military operation to rid the region of a tyrant in Uganda whose bloody dictatorship threatens the stability of the neighbouring states. Willerby finds himself caught up in the mystery and savagery of the dark continent as, with a hard-bitten Australian reporter and his attractive photographer, he embarks on a commando safari to bear witness to a dramatic African solution to an African problem.
