Best known affectionately as "Pastor Jack," Dr. Jack Hayford has been experiencing the awesome, miraculous power of God his whole life. He was miraculously healed on two separate occasions when the medical prognosis was not in his favor. These life-changing events ignited a passion for God in Pastor Jack and convinced him of the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in the presentday church. Pastor Jack Hayford was the founding pastor of The Church on the Way in Van Nuys, California and served as the president of The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel from 2004-2009. Pastor Jack serves as the chancellor of The King's University, which he founded in Los Angeles in 1997.A prolific and bestselling author, Pastor Jack has written or collaborated on more than 100 books and composed over 500 hymns, including the internationally acclaimed hymn "Majesty." Acknowledged as a "bridgebuilder" within the Body of Christ, Pastor Jack's heart is to bring unity across all denominational and ethnic boundaries.

He is recognized for his balanced teaching, faithful to the uncompromising truth of the Bible. Pastor Jack and Anna Hayford were married for 64 years until she went home to be with the Lord on March 8, 2017. The Hayford family includes four children and their spouses, eleven grandchildren and a growing number of greatgrandchildren.
