Imaginary Maps: Expeditions to Uncover Apocryphal, Unsubstantiated and Forbidden Places features forty-one renowned local, national, and international contemporary artists whose work for this 2018 exhibition shape a kind of atlas, or, more accurately, an anti-atlas. The artists travel into social, environmental, political, spiritual, outlandish, bizarre, natural, and personal realities, to define, examine, and survey the so-called "real" world along wild, circuitous routes.
