Connie Hein decided to become an author at an early age after her experiences reading the Little House series. She wrote many stories and books for relatives, She also wrote, printed, and leather-bound her first historical novel for her grandfather's 75th birthday. Blending her love for both writing and teaching, Connie became a curriculum developer for a software company and taught at her local college. She went on to write many books, as well as writing for magazines and her local newspaper. Connie obtained her formal education from Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas and has also worked for many years as a family therapist. As a Colorado native, she and her husband raised their three children in Windsor, and are enjoying time with their four grandchildren.
