I've always known vampires existed. I was taught to give them a wide berth, but when one of my best friends started dating the prince of vampires, that became an impossibility. Considering my luck-or lack of it-I should have known it was only a matter of time before I became bloodsucker chow. I'm now one of them, sired by Lucca Della Morte. Unfortunately, he doesn't have time to show me the ropes of my new existence. Alone in Salem, where the underbelly of the supernatural world is about to erupt, I must stay out of trouble. I don't last one evening without causing utter chaos. My biggest fuck up is to become involved with a mysterious vampire beauty that is most definitely the enemy.

Now I have to try not to fall in love while cleaning up the mess I caused before Lucca returns from Ellnesari. If I don't, my second life will be a short one.
