Ramona Hernández is a native of León Guanajuato, México. Ramona did her elementary and middle schooling in her country. She came to the United States in January 1997. In 2000, she began to take advantage of the free education in her community; in 2013, she completed her GED; and in 2014, she enrolled in college (Atlanta Technical College) in the paralegal studies program. Ramona has dedicated a lot of her time to speaking about the importance of learning a second language for her personal and professional growth and to better understand others who do not speak the language. She also is actively teaching Spanish and English in the community of East Point in Atlanta, Georgia.
