Frank Casey, retired 'Fed' and now a sometimes P.I., agrees to help out a friend by caring for a blind dog. Simple enough? Yes, if nothing happens to change Casey's perceptions. As it turns out the only constant appears to be the dog. He is tested to the extreme, physically, mentally - and even geographically.
