Tracey lives in Texas with her husband, a constantly evolving collection of projects, and grandsons who already know that drawers might open on their own if you listen closely. She writes best in the middle of the night, when the house is quiet, and the tea is sweet. That's when the ideas knock softly and the drawer handles warm in her hand. When not writing or designing strange and beautiful books, Tracey is developing a series of poetic guides, Southern folklore projects, and imaginative works inspired by public domain literature, mythology, and regional storytelling.
