With Her Father's Love : The Diary of a Victorian Rector's Daughter
This is the diary which was kept by Mabel Ridout in 1887 when she was 21. Mabel had been given the book by her father, The Reverend George Ridout, who was the Rector of St Nicholas, Sandhurst in Kent for more than half a century. In the diary we see what it was like to be a clergy daughter during Victorian times.
