Teaching your child maths or verbal reasoning is a doddle as you can see the answers are right or wrong and work on weak areas (ie it is not subjective). Comprehension is tough as we don't really know as parents what is being looked for. If this is the case with you then get this book and the companion exam papers. You get detailed descriptions of what comprehension is all about (a bit wordy at times) and some excellent examples. We found our son improved each time as we could looktogether at the answers. Definitely not a paper to leave your child to read, you will find it enjoyable to work through together. Highly recommended.
