The Paranormal Investigators League is well known as they travel around the country rooting out and handling paranormal phenomena. But how did these four people, so different in background and experience, decide to get together and form a team? In The Origin Story we investigate the origin of the Investigators. There are four stories, each detailing the experiences of a different member of the team and showing how they joined forces with the others. Then there is a fifth story, describing the League's first case outside Southern California, an encounter with a bereaved mother in Alabama. The problem is the mother doesn't know she is dead, and she wants the baby of a young family who has just moved into the home she died in. Quite a challenge for the League's first case.
