PREFACE'Y Mabinogion' is the term given to a collection of 11 folk tales written in Mediaeval Welsh which have come down to us in two early manuscripts, the White Book of Rhydderch and the Red Book of Hergest. I offer part of each tale as a foretaste of what you may read in its entirety some day.This adaptation into English is based on my volume 'Mabinogi'r Plant', published in 1986 by Y Lolfa.
