Brenda Iijima was born in the hilly town of North Adams, Massachusetts. Her books include: AROUND SEA (O Books, 2004), ANIMATE, INANIMATE AIMS (Litmus Press, 2007), REVV. YOU'LL- UTION (Displaced Press, 2009), IF NOT METAMORPHIC (Ahsahta Press, 2010), EARLY LINOLEUM (Counterpath Press, 2015), and UNTIMELY DEATH IS DRIVEN OUT BEYOND THE HORIZON (1913 Press, 2015). She is also the author of numerous chapbooks and artist's books, and editor of the ECO LANGUAGE READER (Nightboat Books and PP@YYL, 2010). She is the editor of Portable Press at Yo-Yo Labs , located in Brooklyn, NY.
