After completing his years in the military, Ben took out a mortgage on a new home. He did not go to work right away, it takes time to heal from war wounds, mentally and physically, besides he had not chosen an occupation yet. A few months after the purchase he had a most unusual dream. An ancient wizard appeared to him and bid him follow up the trail to Horse Head Outcropping. There was a hidden nostril on the other side of the visible one. The ancient one led him into a chamber with a huge ancient chair. He was told that when DNA evidence past or present was fed into a tray, the machine would go down into the FIELD and produce an appertain of the whole either beast or human. It was only a dream was it not? But the next day when Ben went there in person.

All that he had dreamed was true. The wizard told him he was to become a Justice warrior.
