This book contains a listing of marriage bonds before 1851; after 1851, marriage certificates were issued. Entries herein contain the full name of the groom, the full name of the bride, and the date. Grooms are listed in alphabetical order with a cross index for brides. Dates may be date of application or date of filing, most are in a matter of days, but some are off as many as six or seven years. Information was gleaned from the North Carolina State Archives.
