Ashley James is a young black writer from Brooklyn NY. Ashley had been on and off again, struggling with writing young adult fiction stories from a young age, until she found herself on a healing journey full of self discovery, after having to re-learn her entire life as she knew it, from being raised in a family full of narcissistic abuse. Her life changed quickly as she taught herself the fundamentals of psychotherapy and psychology in order to learn of her past and heal from her wounds. Along with a series of psychedelic discoveries, the philosophy of life became her second nature. As she changed, her writing style followed, once she discovered that her own story was the key all along and became eager to share her profound understandings. Now she dedicates her writing career to writing non-fiction topics such as: self-help for mental clarity, and learning how to transform yourself. She has written guided journals to allow others to follow in her own footsteps of self liberation. Ashley has changed her entire life in just one year and has been able to accept true love and happiness into her life and wants to share with those who are struggling with self love, self trust and unable to break free from their pasts.
