Dakota James was born December 17th, 1991 in Saratoga, NY. His passion for poetry began when he read his first Emily Dickinson poem at the age of 9. Ever since, he has absorbed all he could through books and the Internet. He began writing at the age of 13, but it wasn't until the age of 16 that he began to take the craft seriously.Outside of writing, Dakota enjoys music immensely. He has been passionate about music for far longer than poetry, and music will always be a major factor in his life. He is currently studying at Full Sail University as a Music Production major to realize his dream of scoring films and television programs.
