This book of photographs on the tribals of India contains accompanying text which describes the author's fascinating experiences among them. For thirty years, Sunil Janah traveled extensively in the inaccessible tribal villages throughout India. He lived among the people as one of them and was fortunate enough to have photographed important moments in the lives of the tribals. These photographs are of both artistic and documentary value as the lives of the tribals has changed considerably during the last decade.
