The small town of Blackwood has a big secret, and Sienna Blake has just found herself at the centre of it. After her messy divorce, Sienna is done with men. She's en route to a sun-drenched future in California when violent storm sends her car skidding off the road . and straight into Blackwood. This place has more cows than people, a thriving fascination with its dark past, and one dangerously attractive rancher who looks at Sienna like she's already his. Sterling Hayes built his empire by getting what he wants. And when Sienna steps into his town, he knows he's not letting her leave. Sterling convinces Sienna to give him one month to show her that Blackwood is exactly where she belongs - preferably wrapped up in his sheets.

Sienna is determined not to fall for Sterling's cowboy games - or his town. But Blackwood's serial-killer history has started to repeat itself. Women have been disappearing in the Montana wilderness. And when the killer's attention turns toward Sienna, Sterling's obsession with her could be the only thing keeping her alive. Because this rancher isn't willing to share.
