About this Novel: Shadows of the Forest is a result of my children's favorite pastime, they love to read. When they were younger, I asked them what type of books they liked most, and they gave me a list of their favorite stories. This gave me an idea, wouldn't it be interesting to read a book where you knew one of the characters was based on you? So I asked, and they agreed, that would be the best story ever. So, this book series was written for my children and friends, many of whom the characters are based on. My sons also have characters already created but will be introduced as the series progresses. They were too young to understand when this project initially took flight.
