Deep down in the ocean of the clear crystal waters between Montego Bay and Negril in Jamaica, two fish, Candlegal and Seymour, meet and become the best of friends. Their journey began when Seymour swims away from home because he does not want to celebrate his fifth birthday. Seymour bumps into Candlegal, a lone fish of the sea. Together, they experience many wonderful adventures, along with making acquaintances with all types of fish in the ocean. All the fun and adventures stop when the Piranha Patrol appears with a Tuna Can wagon to take Seymour back to his home so the family can celebrate his fifth birthday.
