Born in the Windy City of Chicago, Tyrell Plair knew that the wind would blow his way one day, even if he had to create the breeze. But that breeze would eventually lead him and his family to Pensacola, Florida, where Tyrell gained a love for reading and writing. In middle school, he began writing rap lyrics to recite, and poetry for fun, but then he began to love it. Tyrell then started writing poetry for his male classmates, and the rest is history.Through the years, Tyrell has honed those skills that he developed at an early age as a writer. by ghostwriting novels, penning screenplays, and adding film directing to his resume. In 2019 he released his debut novel "Stolen Innocence" as an independent author. After enduring the struggles that most self-published authors go through, Tyrell decided to look at writing and producing novels as a business.
With this newfound information and passion inside, it was only right that he used his knowledge and platform to grow as a writer and help others as well. Tyrell Plair formed what he would name "PlaTy Multimedia and Publishing", and would release his first novel, coauthored with Elizabeth M. Johnson titled "Just Like My Dad".Tyrell has written and produced commercials for "The Outrageous Love Foundation," "L & J Multicultural Barbershop in Pensacola Florida," and other film projects. Tyrell has also released a youth novel titled "Just Like My Dad" coauthored with Elizabeth Johnson. He has released several novels from other authors under his PlaTy Multimedia and Publishing Imprint, to include. (Mee Maw Mel's Kitchen, A Christmas Battle, Beguiled, and Beneath the Surface of the Skin- by Alan Little).Tyrell Plair earned his Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology with a Concentration in Media and Technology from the University of Phoenix.
He is a person set on ensuring literacy is promoted everywhere it can be. When not writing or leading PlaTy Multimedia and Publishing, you can find him playing a game of chess, working out, fishing, or reading.
