Dr. Johnson has over 30 years of pastoral experience. He has been in his most recent church for over 20 years and has seen many of the youth in his congregations become involved in leadership roles within the church. Pastors, missionaries, teachers and lay leaders have matured under his preaching ministry. He credits their spiritual growth and continued involvement in the Kingdom to his intentional preaching for spiritual formation. He planted a daughter congregation which continues to thrive 25 years later. He has served as chairperson of numerous ministry boards. He is married and has six children.
All his children continue to be faithful followers of Christ. He has remained culturally relevant in his preaching and his sermons are broadcast on the radio each week. One of his present projects is the development of an aquaponics garden. He has lead his congregation to provide benevolence with dignity while preserving our natural resources. A graduate of Wheaton College, he received his Doctor of Ministry from Trinity International University in 2002.
