ABOUT THE AUTHORDr. Darryl L. Jones was born, raised and live in Atlanta Ga. Along with his wife Tisa they are blessed to have 4 wonderful children (April and her husband Chris, Darryl "DJ" and his wife Chesmonti, Michael, Kennedy and a lovely granddaughter Naomi) and a beautiful short haired cat named Shadow.Dr. Jones was raised in the church as a child. At the age of 17 I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior along with receiving my baptism. I grew up singing in my church choirs and serving in several ministries within our church.
Dr. Jones serve a group of some wonderful people as the Senior Pastor of Champions 4 Christ Christian Church located in Atlanta Georgia. Dr. Jones and his wife started their church in 2011 with a few family members and friends. Dr. Jones is eternally grateful to be able to see some of the great things that are being done to share the good news of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through their church.Dr. Jones received his Doctorate of Ministry degree inLeadership Administration from Liberty University(Lynchburg Virginia).
In addition to that he graduated with a Master of Divinity degree in Pastoral Care and Psychology of Religion from the Morehouse School of Religion at theInterdenominational Theological Center (ITC) AtlantaGeorgia and he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Morris Brown College in Atlanta Georgia.Dr. Jones is an Adjunct Professor at the Ohio Christian University teaching graduate and undergraduate course in ministry leadership. Dr. Jones took an early retirement with the GeorgiaDepartment of Revenue serving in the ComplianceDivision as a Revenue Agent. His other professionalbackground also include serving years in BankAccounting, Management and Christian Education.Dr. Jones along with his wife Tisa are owners of "Your Relationships Matter" www.
