Matt Jones has written over twenty episodes of broadcast television, including Doctor Who, Torchwood, The Split, World on Fire and Mr Selfridge. He has also produced over eighty hours of television drama including the Bafta Award winning, Shameless. With Bloc Party's Kele Okereke he created the musical, Leave to Remain, (Lyric, Hammersmith).
