On a stormy night in 1944, the good citizens of Carty Texas, could not have known that a miracle was about to take place in their isolated little farming village, an incident, that could only be described, as Divine Intervention. And the good White citizens of Carty would not have guessed in a million years, that an old Black hobo--who had been everywhere but had nowhere to go--would be the catalyst of that miracle that was about to take place in their little community, nor would they have guessed that he would be the driving force behind that miracle: A miracle, that folks for miles around would talk about, for years into the future.
