Christ's Body in Paul's Undisputed Letters : A Critical Reexamination
The diverse concepts and uses of Christ's body in Paul's undisputed letters will be explored critically. Major topics are as follows: "The crucified body of Christ; Christ's body at the Lord's Supper; Christ's body as a metaphor; the resurrection body of Christ." Familiar interpretations of these topics will be reexamined and challenged. One assumption of this book is that it would be unthinkable for Paul to do theology without articulating "the body of Christ." This book will help readers to see why and how Paul uses the diverse images/uses of the body of Christ when he proclaims the gospel.
