Stephanie Paulsell is the Susan Shallcross Swartz Professor of the Practice of Christian Studies, Emerita, at Harvard Divinity School and a former columnist at The Christian Century. She is author of Religion Around Virginia Woolf and coeditor of Toni Morrison: Goodness and the Literary Imagination.
