Michelle Knight, founder of Black Moms Reality Bookcase LLC, is an Army veteran whose journey from military service to children's literature embodies resilience and purpose. With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration, coupled with over 20 years in healthcare, Michelle brings a unique perspective to children's literature. ¿ Her motto, 'Reading reality is essential assisting our children today for a better tomorrow,' stems from her belief that life experience is the most valuable degree one can earn. Through her collection of multicultural children's books, she addresses real-life challenges while celebrating African American culture and inspiring young minds to dream big. ¿ Black Moms Reality Bookcase was born from Michelle's passion for teaching through writing. Each book carries powerful messages that help children aged 3-12 navigate life's challenges while seeing themselves represented in literature. As an author and educator, she creates stories that serve as bridges to understanding, growth, and empowerment.
