Carved in Paper
Laura always believed that stories should reflect the world as it is. Years later, her greatest mentee brings to society the thesis: The world is a reflection of Story. The problem is that maybe her mentee isn't wrong about Narrative. Maybe she's wrong because she forgot the Author. Carved in Paper is the short story of a developmental editor whose life was quite enjoyable before she started questioning death and whether or not her story would ever get an epilogue.
