Upon arriving in the Prayerlands of Samariarl, Usato meets with that nation' s king to secure Samariarl' s assistance in the looming war against the Demon Lord' s forces. The king, however, has demands that must first be met, and they involve his daughter Eva, who bears a crushing fate upon her shoulders.
