JANE LANDRETH and her husband, Jack, enjoy watching animals, especially the ones in their backyard. There are the birds that eat at the birdfeeder. There are rabbits who find nests to raise their young babies in the bushes. They eat the birdseed that falls on the ground under the birdfeeder. A squirrel raises her babies in the big tree outside the window. They too eat under the birdfeeder. JANE has been writing for children for over thirty years. She has taught children in public school as well as private school and in many church situations.
