Jeanine is surviving her widowhood by becoming a hard-driving businesswoman pursuing the dream she and her husband had planned. Her lake is surrounded by live music theaters—dozens of them—which draw hordes of aspiring vocalists, instrumentalists, songwriters, composers, directors and theater managers. They will do anything to make it to the top. Then there are the con artists, crooks and gamblers, who naturally follow any business boom. Jeanine is happily following the demands and delights of her tourist business, until she discovers the underlying intrigues. Soon she is accused of committing a crime, and then she becomes a potential victim as she unravels the mysteries, all while finding romance along the way.
