Lewis Laney is the author of The Little Book of Pride, published by Dog 'n' Bone. He started writing queer literature as a teenager in his adopted hometown of Blackpool, Lancashire. At eighteen he had his first short story published in The Next Wave: The Gay Times Book of Short Stories (2002). He went on to write more short stories and also articles for various publications including the iconic music magazine The Face . He is an active participant in the LGBTQ+ London community, working with local establishments to provide spaces for queer meet-ups. He now works in publishing and lives in south-east London with his partner and their ancient cairn terrier, Jimmy. Lewis lives in London, UK.
