I'm a fiction writer living and working in the beautiful Fourth Corner of the Pacific Northwest, not far from the Canadian border, within one hour of Mt. Baker (our closest local volcano) and minutes from the shore of the beautiful Puget Sound, northern section. On a clear day, I can see the San Juan Islands, the Canadian Coastal range to the north and the Cascade Range to the east. Living between Seattle, WA and Vancouver, BC means I can enjoy the quieter life and slower pace of a small city and still be in easy range of the pleasures of a world-class city and all it has to offer. In this case, two of them! My stories reflect the different careers I've had and are set in and around where I have lived, though the towns named are not necessarily ones you've visited.
