Now that Kanin knows the Travelers are being held by the gods, he has a new goal: sneak into the Heavens and break them out. Easier said than done when he doesn't even know where to start. But when a divine friend offers him a chance to meet Fyre, another Traveler, he jumps at the opportunity. In her few months in this world, Fyre has become the ruler of a city-state, and to Kanin's surprise she welcomes him with open arms. They both want to free the imprisoned Travelers; if Kanin can find a way to break in, Fyre can provide refuge for all the Travelers once they break out. Putting their own freedom at stake, the two begin to hatch their heavenly heist. But with the gods on the hunt for the individual responsible for this mass-isekai event, Kanin's days of flying under the radar are numbered. Kanin Fyre is the fourth book in the Kanin series and features the main character of Friendly Fyre in a series crossover.

This book takes place concurrently with Fyre's third and final book.
