Arthur A. Levine wrote Monday Is One Day when he was at home with his son (who was then an infant) and thinking about how much he was going to miss him when he went back to work. Arthur has been a children's book editor for twenty-five years, over the course of which he's also written seven books of his own. He still loves his work but treasures family time even more. He lives in New Jersey. Julian Hector spent many happy days with families in his Brooklyn, New York, neighborhood to gather inspiration for this book. He is a recent graduate of Parson's School of Design and the illustrator of The Little Matador and This Is the Firefighter . Monday Is One Day marks Julian's Scholastic debut.
