Cheri A. Levinson is a professor in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences and the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Louisville. She directs the Eating Anxiety Treatment (EAT) lab where she conducts research aimed at developing and testing novel treatments for eating disorders. She has more than 200 professional publications and more than 350 presentations in the area of eating disorder treatment. She is also the founder of the Louisville Center for Eating Disorders, which is the only eating disorder specialty clinic in the state of KY. Rachel M. Butler is a licensed psychologist and researcher whose work aims to improve treatment outcomes for eating disorders. She has published research on topics related to conceptualizing fear and anxiety in eating disorders, adapting exposure therapy to the treatment of eating disorders, and social anxiety disorder.
She supervises doctoral students at the University of Louisville and trains clinicians in the delivery of exposure-based treatment approaches.
