This is a new edition of a UK local history book that was first published in 2003. Wawne Ferry operated across the River Hull in East Yorkshire for over 800 years. This edition uses the original text but also includes new material from local newspapers, census returns and the findings of further research. This new edition also features numerous old photographs of the ferry in operation.
