Lucy Lipari was born in Germany and raised in Canada, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba. She wrote articles for the Winnipeg Free Press. In her early 20's, Lucy moved to the United States, attended Harvard University and graduated from New York University with a Master of Arts degree.Lucy worked in the field of Public Relations in New York City and edited a newspaper for a professional organization. From there, she had a career in banking. After starting a family, Lucy became active in homebuilding, in New York, with her husband and partner Richard Lipari. Lucy became an active writer with her first suspense mystery, The Genghis Code, with the creation of Jake Preston, a retired Firefighter modeled after her husband, Richard.Lucy loves to travel across the United States in her RV, riding motorcycles, photography, painting in oils and acrylics, cooking, sewing, and of course reading.
