Richard Lipari is an adventurer and world traveler. He is a retired, decorated New York City Firefighter (FDNY) and a veteran of the US Army. Richard wrote articles for WNYF, the magazine for firefighters. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Richard is a graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice and CUNY Graduate Center in New York City. He has built homes and developments. His hobbies range from model airplanes and boats and rebuilding old clocks. He loves his motorcycles. He is a sculptor and an artist in three media.
Richard is a passionate cook, specializing in Italian food. His favorite pleasure is to be with his co-author and wife, Lucy. Their poetry book, Dancing Words, was a finalist for the Royal Palm Literary Awards of the Florida Writers Association.
