Martin Lipton is a retired physician, lives in Westchester County, NY, and is married to Fernande, a professional artist and sculptress, and former volunteer/ trainer for The Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Fernande was born in Shanghai, China of Russian and French parents during some of the most tense political years of the 20th century.
