Please join us in celebrating the twenty-second anniversary of "Words on the Page," our annual recognition of Literacy Chicago's adult learners' writing. This year's theme was "How Attending Class at Literacy Chicago has Improved My Daily Life." Adult learners from all of Literacy Chicago's different programs have contributed to this collection. Some of our learners are recent immigrants, some are working toward their GED, and some are learning basic reading and writing. Our adult learners at Literacy Chicago are dedicated in their focus of improving their lives through education, and should be an inspiration to us all. Literacy Chicago is a nonprofit organization that empowers individuals to achieve greater self-sufficiency through language and literacy instruction.
