Yang Liu is a faculty member at the Shanghai Maritime University, China. He holds a Master's degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and a Ph.D. from Curtin University, Australia. His research focuses on predicting student achievement by integrating factors like school climate, learner characteristics, and socioeconomic status. By integrating multifaceted variables, his research provides actionable insights for evidence-based decision-making in educational contexts. Beyond his research, he actively collaborates with policymakers, educators, and industry stakeholders to design and implement educational strategies that foster core AI competencies. He co-edited the Handbook of Research on Teacher Education (Springer, 2022) and served as co-editor for the Journal of Science of Learning and Innovations published by Brill in Netherlands.


Myint Swe Khine currently teaches at the School of Education, Curtin University, Australia. He has more than 30 years of experience in teacher education. He received Master's degrees from the University of Southern California, USA, University of Surrey, UK, and the University of Leicester, UK, and a Doctoral degree from Curtin University, Australia. He worked at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and was a Professor at Emirates College for Advanced Education in the United Arab Emirates. He has wide-ranging research interests in teacher education, science education, learning sciences, psychometrics, measurement, assessment, and evaluation. He is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of several international academic journals. Throughout his career, he has published over 40 edited books. The most recent volume includes Artificial intelligence in education: A machine-generated literature overview (Springer, 2024).
