Jennifer Lloyd has written several picture books, including Looking for Loons , Ella's Umbrellas (an Alcuin Award winner, and a Rainforest of Reading and Christie Harris Children's Literature Prize nominee), The Best Thing About Kindergarten , and Taffy Time . She is also the author of the Murilla Gorilla series of early readers, which have won multiple Alcuin Society Awards for Excellence in Book Design. Kirsti Anne Wakelin is a freelance designer, writer and illustrator. She has illustrated several picture books, including Looking for Loons and Dream Boats , which was a 2014-2015 Chocolate Lily Award nominee.
